Twin Action
Building on the robust foundation of our Single Motion design, the Twin Action system incorporates a second mixing shaft to deliver exceptional, highly tailored performance. This complete system is mounted on a single-piece, formed stainless steel “U” channel bridge and features our standard wide sweep frame with quick-removal nylon scraper blades.
What sets the Twin Action apart is the secondary agitator. Featuring a tapered flight bar (shaped like an upside-down Christmas tree), this secondary shaft is mounted on the same centerline as the sweep, but offset to one side. Powered by its own independent, heavy-duty inline helical gearmotor, this offset shaft rotates in the opposite direction—at approximately double the speed—of the sweep arm. This dual action provides an excellent, gentle, and thorough mix that is ideal for semi-viscous products and mixtures containing particulates.
Need a low-shear solution? Simply replace the standard tapered agitator with a prop. For product purity, all shaft-through holes in the bridge are protected by a shaft dam and drip collar.
